5 BEING THE BEST
Rated "5" by PJ
This was the best show I have ever seen. I was pulling out the grass on the hill at the theater (which by the way was the best place I could have imagined going to see Stevie) and I could not wait to see her. Chris Isaak was hilarious. He is very funny and it looks like he loves his job very much.
When Stevie came out, and not-to-rare drum/bongo solo was played, and then a huge burst of energy ran through-out the stadium as "Stand Back" began. The lights were shining and moving in multiple directions. When I saw Lori, Sharon, and Jana Anderson, my breath was taken cause it was 'the girls who always travel with STEVIE NICKS!' Her back up singers. Then, Waddy Wachtel was out there, playing the guitar as good as he always does, and then everyone else just made the stage beautiful as Stevie entered and began singing! Then, during the guitar solo for "Stand Back" she twirled as usual, and I could not believe 'I' was getting to see it.
Then, she sang "Dreams." Her vocals sounded similar to what they did on the Deep Dish remix from the "Crystal Visions" album, and everything just sounded great. It was an amazing experience that I got to see STEVIE NICKS sing Fleetwood Mac's only #1 hit.
Then, she did "If Anyone Falls" which sounded even better live than it does on the 'The Wild Heart' Just the way she sang it, and the way the instruments were played the whole theater was just screaming with joy!
Then, "Rhiannon" with the slower piano at first, and then the rock n' roll we here for "Rhiannon" on the "Crystal Visions" album where there is an electric guitar playing one chord and then, the music starts to play and it sounds great! I GOT TO SEE STEVIE NICKS SING "RHIANNON!"
From there, I can't remember the rest of concert songs in the order, but when she sang "Fall From Grace" it sounded great, and so did "Sorcerer." Tom Petty's "I Need To Know" was awesome, and instead of the girls saying 'I need to know' in the background, Waddy Wachtel did it! I also was very surprised when I heard her sing 'How Still My Love' because I did not remember that one from the set list. Earlier in the show, she also did "Enchanted."
My souvenirs were a tour shirt, and a poster.
