1-5
5 BEING THE BEST

I would have liked more Fleetwood Mac, not saying his new stuff wasn't good. On the Fleetwood Mac songs he did play, the Fleetwood Mac sound was missing, something wasn't there, overall the production was great and it was a great show

All I can say is WOW. The show blew me away. I read some other reviews including one from Cleveland. I think at times, Stevie and Chris could have helped. There are just some songs that I think he needs the other singer - and that is Second Hand News and World Turning. In any case, it is clear that people came to see him sing Fleetwood Mac songs. They were clearly the best received.
By the way - if you have ever been to Chicago and saw a show at Park West - you will understand. It is a small intimate setting and the sound is absolutely amazing. I have seen the Mac a ton but never heard sound like this. The guitar ending on So Afraid was out of this world. I get the chills just writing about it. NGBA was spine chilling. Second Hand News rocked but he did not sing it all that well. But the crowd loved it. Tusk was OK.
I absolutely loved Holiday Road. Never saw that live before. And I love that so many people are still surprised that Lindsey wrote and sang it for the movie Vacation.
I Know I'm Not Wrong - did not disappoint. Not sure if everyone was familiar with song but it rocked. I was still hoping for Eyes of the World too.
Go Your Own Way was great but I must say it was not the same without Stevie singing the line "packing up, shacking up's all you want to do."
I was amazed with Save Me a Place. Who knew we would ever hear that song. But just beautiful.
He did finish with Bleed to Love Her. He asked if people wanted one more song and I yelled BTLH. Then I heard some guy yell it from the balcony again. Obviously, the Dance was amazingly popular.
So glad I went. Might try and go again tonight. LB just rocked. I found myself singing Holiday Road the whole way home too.
