I was moved to tears of joy for the first time in my life at a live perfomance last night that I will not soon forget.

In my (nearly) 45yrs. of existence on this earth, I have spent a great deal of time being entertained by a multitude of live acts. None of them compare to what I and 400 or so people were treated to last evening at a sold-out concert-extraordinaire.

Lindsey Buckingham leaves it all out there. He holds nothing back. You really get the feeling that his guitar is not just another instrument to him, but an extension of himself. That sentence has been repeated many times, by many people, of many musicians. Personally it has never rung true to me, until last night.

The man exudes musical energies as he works his fingers effortlessly upon strings that literally touch your soul. He loses himself in a trans-like state while he captivates.

He APPRECIATES the audience and can't even possibly imagine the effect he has on all within earshot.

The man is an amazing musician.

I have spent my life ignorantly under-appreciating the talented Mr. Buckingham, always a fan, never a fanatic. I have always enjoyed any music he's been associated with, always at a distance.
