5 BEING THE BEST

As far as I am concerned, they can do no wrong. I loved seeing them even if Lindsey Buckingham got off to a rough start vocally.
He was off key the first two songs, but once he kicked in, he was awesome.
I would have loved to hear more songs from their new CD but like I said, they can do no wrong in my book.
Now I can't wait for the DVD of this tour.

I am 60 and my husband is around the same age, but it was like time stood
still when Stevie and the band started to play.
I too cried when Stevie sang, it was like she and Lindsey have an unspoken
love that will never die., and it felt good to be a part of it.
Lindsey is tremendous on the guitar, Eddie Van Halen who?
Mick Fleetwood is still the guts of the band and can rock with the best of them.
Thank you Fleetwood Mac, my husband has terminal cancer and you gave us an evening together that I will never forget.

This was possibly one of the best concerts I've ever gone to! I've always enjoyed them but I had no idea how great they were in a live performance. Lindsey Buckingham was a mad man! It was great! They were all outstanding and the show got better with each song. It could have gone on for at least another hour. They came back twice and the audience went crazy! We paid a lot of money for those tickets but it was well worth it. If you get an opportunity to see them, go for it. Don't even think twice.

I am still in a dream...was this REAL? An awesome performance; only complaint is that I feel it should have been longer.

Phenomenal is the only way to describe it. The absolute best concert I have seen in 30 years.
The energy that poured from the stage ignited the audience which ranged from young to Mac contempories. I was in sheer awe of Lindsey - he was jamming on stage and stroking the guitar with such sounds that it puts Clapton to shame. They played almost 2 1/2 hours straight. If I could, I would get front row seats to all of their concerts.

Best concert I've ever been to!

I was impressed at how the band sounded and performed. It was as though they had never taken a break over the past several years.
I have always been a Buckingham/Nicks fan, so the concert was more enjoyable for me with just the two of them singing. However, I wish Christine could have been with the band for the simple fact that I have never seen all five of them perform together.
Stevie didn't do her normal dancing around the stage as in years past. She seemed to be a bit tired or maybe she was lacking the sensation of the drugs she so frequently used in years past? Anyhow, Stevie never sounded better!!!! Her voice was very mature and it was breath taking in songs like Landslide, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, and Rhiannon. She is my all time favorite female artist and always will be!!!
Lindsey played his heart and soul out. It was apparent he missed performing on stage. His guitar solo on "I'm So Afraid" and the new track "Come" from the "Say You Will" CD were the standard Buckingham performances I hoped to hear and see. I believe Lindsey is one of the all time greatest guitarists and I was impressed at his level of play for his age.
John and Mick ... Well, what can I say ... this rhythm section rules with their distinct sound and they looked and played the same - AWESOME!
The best song of the evening was Stevie's "Landslide." Lindsey's acoustic play was amazing and Stevie's voice was haunting. This song actually made me cry while the two of them performed. Stevie connected with the audience with the lyrics singing, "Well, I've been afraid of changing 'cause I've built my life around you. But time makes you get bolder even children get older and I'm getting older too." She would nod her head and sing it again as the audience reacted ... "Yes, I'm getting older too." Everyone felt the sense of realization that yes, she is older, I am older and the love between Stevie and Lindsey is still there after all these years. After the tune Stevie walked up behind Lindsey and gave him a hug. The crowd once again reacted and applauded. Yes, indeed, the love was still there.
All in all, the show was rated at the top of my all time favorite concert list. After 35-years, Fleetwood Mac rocks on in the hearts of so many. I just hope they continue to make music for the avid fan such as myself.

One of the best concerts I have ever attended.
The band was
amazing and put on one of the most enegetic shows I have
seen in a long time. Lindsey is an absolute genius and was
definitely the most energetic of the band, he must of switched
guitars 10 times throughout the show. Stevie was great and
her voice was dead on, she still looks great and seems to
still have eyes for Lindsey. Mick played great and did a
few solo performances throughout the show. John was the
only disappointing one in the bunch and seemed to be the
least into the show. I have to say it was a great ride, worth every penny.
