5 BEING THE BEST

I thought their were awesome. I thought they sounded great. I had hoped Stevie Nicks would dance around a bit more, but she didn't. She almost seemed to be afraid to walk, like maybe her foot was bothering her or something. Also, what is the deal with the boots she had on. They looked like high top tennis shoes. But they were great. Lindsey Buckingham is outstanding!

This concert was a religious experience, because I died and went to heaven!

I've been waiting to see these guys since I was in high school when The Dance was released. It was well worth the wait, and the price. The most amazing thing was just the realization that I was seeing these guys with my very own eyes. I think any one who is a fan should get their butts out to see them, because when you're lying on you're death bed you'll be like "It's cool, I saw Fleetwood Mac."

I have been a huge Stevie/Fleetwood Mac fan since "Rumours", and have seen them every time they have come to Detroit and several other cities.  This was by far the BEST show I have ever seen!  Stevie sounds better than she has in 20 years, almost like the old days.  The band has never been tighter.  It was a great set list, combining old and new.  Beautiful Child and Silver Springs were incredible.

Christine's harmonies and keyboards were definately missed, but it gave the Lindsey/Stevie thing and the band a whole new dynamic.  The ticket price was disapointing--there were quite a few empty seats and I think it was because they were so expensive.  But for a true fan, it was worth every penny!

I thought the show was awesome,I could feel the music thumping throughout my body. I was upset at first that I had to pay $125, but the show was worth every penny. Magical, that sums it up.

I have been to 3 Fleetwood Mac concerts and have followed them since I was a kid. This by far was their best performance ever!

I like the new edgier side of the band. Both Lindsey and Stevie sang their hearts out. The songs I really enjoyed were Eyes of the World, I'm So Afraid, World Turning, and Stevie's electric Stand Back. I can't believe how she busted out in that song. I was glad to hear Second Hand News which I think makes a great concert song. The only thing I noticed was that Stevie did not attempt the high note in Gypsy but considering what she has been through and her age, she is doing very well for herself.

It's been a while since I attended a show. Let me start by saying that the bass drum does not need to be amplified to the extent that it causes your heart to beat in sympathy ;-) The show was very good. The crowd was mixed and everyone was in good spirits. Mick is a madman. Almost every piece began with him getting all crazy looking in the eyes and drumming like mad. It usually took a few moments to figure out what they would break into. His drum solo and the bit with the drum pads on his vest were pretty cool. I think everyone appreciated the reality/irony when Stevie sang Landslide. And we all sang along to the words "..I'm getting older too." Lindsey did a great job on guitar, but sometimes, I really wonder whether it was plugged in. He was wailing it around and scratching at the strings, yet I didn't notice a difference in the music. There was no way that what he was doing was translating into anything but a lot of showmanship. Too bad that Christine decided not to tour. Her voice was missed.

I have been to other Fleetwood Mac concerts and they are all great but this was the best. THE BEST

Rated "5" by Brian

I'm not a big Mac fan but my son scored tickets from WNIC and he was out of town so my sister and I went and had a great time. These are old pros and there is nothing better than seeing the pros do their thing. The sound at the Palace was spectacular. Only complaint was that the video screen was not positioned well--from our side stage seats practically invisible. Many recognizable songs. I have a new respect for this long running band.
