FANS ARE NOW RATING THE SHOWS AS WELL

5 BEING THE BEST

WOW it was awesome! They were totally on “The Mark”! LOL

It was THE BEST concert experience I have ever had. The band didn’t hold back at all they went wild and the crowd loved it. The crowd responded to them very well, but many did leave during Come.

Lindsey had a black shirt on and Stevie wore boots that looked like the boots Herman Munster wore but not as high.

I tried to get pictures but unfortunately my 1st disposable camera was taken by a big scary security guy who hung around in my general area. I did get the camera back after the show and was able to take some pictures with my 2nd camera. We will see how they turn out.

I would have to say that I wish people weren't allowed to drink at concerts even though some may be funny at times.

I sat in the second row with a ticket I bought Thursday afternoon. Considering everything, the 8,000+ is an impressive number. If they failed to do a $1 million gate, it was probably close. If so, that would only be the second event ever held at The Mark of the Quad Cities to attain that mark (no pun intended).

I was in Section A, which is on the right-hand side of the stage. I was smack-dab in the middle of Row 2. Just incredible.

The crowd was very responsive to the familiar material, while the six newer songs received good reactions. It seemed that a lot of people had bought the new disc, which was a good thing. I had yet to purchase it, and really had no reason to, despite being a fan for twenty years this year.

The first thing I did after getting back into town was head over to Walmart and buy the limited edition (or special edition or whatever). In fact, I'm listening to it right now. A definite for sure.

The crowd was older, and considering the ticket prices, it would've been weird to see anyone younger. Still, the exits got full once they would announce a song from the new album, but that's hardly a knock against the group. I remember a Def Leppard concert in Cedar Rapids (1992) where they had a new acoustic number and no sooner did that sentence get completed did the fans start heading for the bathrooms and concessions stands. It's a given no matter who the artist(s) is.

I stood the entire time (with a couple of exceptions), dancing, stomping my feet and clapping. The last time I did any of that for that length of time were the junior high school dances of seventh grade!

I liked it much more than The Dance. I mean, The Dance was tremendous, and there were new songs, but people left their seats then, too. The only difference was that everyone had seen the show on television, it was a carbon copy of the disc and there were no surprises in the set list.

While I had a set list in hand for this one, it was still a fresher atmosphere and both Lindsey and Stevie proved that, given enough room.....which they had, minus Christine.....that they could do a show equal to, if not better than any previous incarnation.

And they did.

I sure hope they're able to do another tour, but even so, I'm glad to have seen them for their past two outings. I even saw the Dave Mason era lineup and enjoyed that.

Considering they've only played in this area on four occasions (the first time being September 24, 1975, when I was only six years old and years before I even knew who they were), three out of four really isn't bad.

The show was absolutely sensational. It was well worth the money for the tickets. It was my first time seeing Fleetwood Mac and I'd go see them again in a heartbeat. Nicks and Buckingham both seemed to be in a playful mood. Stevie did "air guitar" during one of Buckingham's solos, and Buckingham played "air drums" during one of Mick Fleetwood's solos. From start to finish the show was sensational.

The show was absolutely awesome!

It was my first time seeing them. Stevie knocked my socks off. She seemed to have a little trouble walking, but she never let it show when she did Stand Back. She twirled around like it was nothing. Even though I knew she seemed like her legs were kind of stiff, she pulled it off like a pro. Our seats were way at the top, second row from the last. My wife and I were really impressed by how well we could see, the monitors really helped for the close ups. Deep down I get the feeling this may be their last tour, I hope not, but, I'm glad I got to go. Lindsey was never my favorite, but he really kicks ass on that guitar. So Afraid was awesome. Mick has the most unusual facial expressions I've ever seen. As if he's about to orgasm, LOL! I'm sure he was doing just that, only musically. John was his usual self standing in the shadows. I missed not seeing Christine, but, well, we had no choice on that one. Any fans out there who are hesitant on spending the money for a ticket, please do so, I promise it was worth every penny. How many other concerts have you been to with no opening act who plays for 2 1/2 hours?

Please do not miss this one. Get tickets while you can. I promise you won't regret it, Rock On Fleetwood Mac....

FABULOUS show! I have been wanting to see them since I was 8 listening to Rumours on 8-track. I was not disappointed. This was a tremendous show.

It was the first time I'd ever seen them in concert and I loved it. I thought the show was really great! they sounded good, performed good, and just put on a good show... I really enjoyed it and can't wait to go to another one.
