5 BEING THE BEST
Rated "5" by Terri Allen
The show was fantastic. The only thing I would have changed it to add more of the songs from the Say You Will album; Running Through the Garden and Destiny Rules are great songs.
I even hesitate to say anything negative but the sound was very good, which is not FM's fault.
Overall, a great show. The best thing Lindsey and Stevie could have done is announce they are back together where they belong!!!

It was AWESOME. Stevie's unchanged voice was amazing and her performance in songs not originally hers was also awesome. Lindsey was perfect, athletically and vocally. He was running around the stage, oblivious to the fact that he had another concert in less than 24 hours. Mick also was having a great time... and acknowledged the fans throughout the concert. Anyone who says they have lost their touch is INSANE! Best concert I have ever been to.

Awesome! My only experience was the live dvd, and I didn't expect that much considering they were missing Christine, but they more than exceeded my expectations.
Concert started with "The Chain" sound was pretty bad for the first few songs, but at least the set list was superb. They probably performed most of Rumours, most of their greatest hits, and a few tracks from the new album. Lindsey's playing was great, much more exciting than on the live dvd, especially on "Come," "Go your own way," and "Don't Stop". There were a few faster paced songs that I don't know, but pretty much everything was good.
One complaint would be Stevie singing along on Lindsey's songs (i.e. Never going back again, Tusk, etc.) they just don't lend themselves to a backup singer. Crowd seemed to be more interested in Nick's compositions, she even played a solo track, "Stand Back" which got the audience going. Band came out for second encore which was last song on album.
I left the concert fully satisfied, having heard every song i wanted (except for Sara). One last note, Mick Fleetwood's "solo" was amazing, you have to see/hear it to believe it, words can't do it justice........

My first Fleetwood Mac concert and it went way beyond my expectations. I was pretty much in awe from the moment The Chain started. My personal favorite was Go Your Own Way and ever single guitar solo Lindsey had. That man rocks! The only bad part was when the usher told me to sit down but that's not the Mac's fault. I stood right back up when he walked away. All in all it was a perfect night and a perfect show.

THE MAC IS BACK those were the last words in which Mick Fleetwood ended the concert last night. And have to say, HE WAS RIGHT! AWESOME CONCERT! Better than the Dance Tour.
Stevie was at her best last night. She sang very well, she was very animated and smiling a lot. I would like to comment to the fans who had been criticizing Stevie's voice, wardrobe, shoes, etc., WHAT THE HELL YOU WANT FROM HER? She's not the only one with a voice that doesn't sound like it used to. As for the wardrobe, Lindsey hasn't been criticize much for always wearing the same white shirt. Oh! That's right, he did wear an undershirt and black shirt in some other concerts but maybe that was because somebody forgot to do Lindsey's laundry. Just kidding! lol. What I'm trying to get at is that, IS FREAKING TOUGH TO BE A WOMAN!! Geez, give her a break. Anyway, she was AWESOME!
Lindsey was a MADMAN! And I mean that as a compliment. I love they way he plays guitar. He's one of the best. I've read comments that his voice was getting bad but there was none of that last night. He sang very well and played very well. He was just AWESOME...AND GORGEOUS! Yep, I think that describes Lindsey perfectly. LOL!
Mick, I think he has his own language because I couldn't understand half of what he was saying. Something like, ahh, ahh, uhh, uhh, chichiyayoooooooo Are you with me? ahh, ahh, uhh, uhh, chichiyayoooooooo Are you still with me? Are you still breathing? Are you still alive? That's all I understood lol. I really like the drum solo and Mick played very well all night.
John, what can say? As usual, he was on the background most of the night but he played great.
The song list is the same so I'm not going to talk about it but I like to comment about a guy in front of me that was drunk out of his mind and kept doing the chicken dance. LOL At least, that what it looked like. This guy kept asking EVERYONE around for high fives but he was harmless. I just didn't pay much attention to him. The crowd was into it and on their feet most of the concert. I think the band was very happy with this crowd. So much so that at the end Stevie said, ANAHEIM YOU ROCK! and she was right it was LOUD! But that's because FLEETWOOD MAC ROCKED ANAHEIM LAST NIGHT!!!

The Chain (from the opening beats to the first notes from LB - magical and hair-raising! -the harmonies were great!)
Dreams (simply magic again, one of my all time fave songs by ANYONE and this was a great performance)
Eyes of the World, Peacekeeper (new ones for me.... must get the new album this weekend)
Second Hand News (great song, SN and LB singing to each other, def an old fave)
Say You Will (great song....must get the new album before the weekend)
Never Going Back Again (LB shined on this one, a definite highlight -one of many)
Rhiannon (when this started there seemed to be a mass reaction all at once.... beautiful....another of my all time faves)
Come (another new one? -great nonetheless)
Gypsy (what can I say -AMAZING)
Big Love (this, probably next to the experience of The Chain was my personal highlight of the entire show.... LB is SO UNDERRATED...there is so much emotion in this song and if you cannot feel it, even in the studio version (although, LB doing the solo live is better) I don't know what to tell ya.)
Landslide (another fantastic performance, following Big Love it was a lot to take in.....)
Say Goodbye (I didn't want to!)
What's the World Coming To, Beautiful Child (both great -as was the entire show)
Gold Dust Woman (another AMAZING performance, great stage effects too, it's amazing the reaction SN gets when she does her dance)
I'm So Afraid, Silver Springs (great performance -heartfelt)
Tusk (LB and MF went all out on this one!)
Stand Back (this was a surprise! wonder if this would have been allowed if CM was there? hmmmmm)
Go Your Own Way (the opening notes very reminiscent of The Chain experience)
World Turning (Mick's drum solo - what can you say about MF -he's the master!)
Don't Stop (Stevie's singing Christine's part) (Christine who? LOL)
Goodbye Baby (I had to miss this one :( -had to be at work way to early.
All in all one of the BEST shows I've seen! I wish I could see more of this tour.... I had seen SN at the AZ Heart Institute Benefit in Phoenix on 9/23/00 and was completely blown away -LB gave a stellar performance (again) and the duet of Leather & Lace with Don Henley was unbelievable....
FM rocked the Pond!

It was a great show - especially the guitar work (without a pick!). My favorite was "I'm So Afraid" Definitely a 5.

Would have been a 5 if Christine was there. Took a couple of songs for Stevie and Lindsey to hit the right notes, but then it rocked. Contrary to other opinions, Christine was missed, the backup singers couldn't carry the load and Lindsey and Stevie don't have the sultry sound of Christine. Other than that, it was a great concert.
