5 BEING THE BEST

I was lucky to win better seats than I had purchased. I
won 2nd row to Stevie's right. the other seats were 24 rows side of stage. Of course I (stood) not sat at the best. My 14 year old daughter sat with me and my wife decided to sit with my oldest son. I'm a huge Stevie fan and was in my glory being that close to the stage. The concert was the best. I saw Stevie in 2001 tour and I thought I saw the best until the this FLM tour. I've seen a lot of bands over the years since the 70's; and none compare to that night. Stevie's voice is still fantastic!!! I wish she had done "SARA" as she has decided to do on the second leg. I was blown away with Gold dust woman. Excellent. It doesn't matter what songs Stevie sings; as their all great. Lindsay was great on "COME" I still love the hard rock touch. His guitar play was better than I come imagine. My daughter was amazed with Stevie; as most of the music she listens to is rap. She was even yelling to Stevie. My wife is not the fan that I am; but she enjoyed it all the same. I hope they will come back to Toronto. ROCK ON MAC! AND KEEP ROCKIN ON STEVIE YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

It was amazing! Being 14 this was the first concert I have ever been to, and I had to drag my dad downtown to see it. The show totally blew me away!
Not long into the rhythmic booming of the Chain, almost everyone was on their feet (except for the one guy whose wife literally dragged him there). You could feel the whole band was completely into the performance. One person behind me wouldn't even leave for the bathroom and a beer refill. I am not sure, but the show must have been pretty close to sold out. Usually you wouldn't be able to get me dancin in front of a few strangers, but you felt as if you knew the people around you because you had something in common so I was up dancing, drumming on my thighs, cheering like never before.Once we reached Go Your Own Way FM got a standing ovation (even the guy next to my dad stood up.I most certainly left with memories!

I have loved Fleetwood Mac ever since I was seven years old. I sang Landslide and Silver Springs to my daughter as lullabys. My wonderful boyfriend surprised me with tickets to see them. I thought I would die! We drove 6 hours to see them! We listened to FM the whole way there. I was so damn anxious to see them! I was jumping out of my skin. I have never seen them in concert. A DREAM COME TRUE!
Every single song made me shiver! I almost fainted when "Go Your Own Way" was played. The crowd was pretty quiet in the beggining, but it didn't stop me. I couldn't control myself, I stomped my feet, waved my hands and sang as loud as I could. I couldn't believe I (with 15,000 other people) was in the same room as them! I will never forget this experience! FM gets better and better. Thank you Jim for making my dream come true! I will never forget it!

This was the most amazing experience of my life.
Now I'm 36 and I've seen and done a lot of exciting and amazing things in my life but this was it. It was way more than a concert. My wife and I travelled 1000 miles and paid $1300.00 for front row centre tickets and it was worth every penny. Lindsey and Stevie were 5 feet in front of us. When we stood at the stage there were none of the usual crowd barriers etc. to prevent us from leaning right on the stage for the entire show!. Lindsey is simply the most amazing guitar player in the world. His energy and passion are incredible....it's like the guitar is plugged right into his soul....and the chemistry between he and Stevie was wonderful. Lindsey actually came down and shook my hand after "I'm so afraid" and at one point during the peak of his guitar solo kneeled down infront of me, my wife and the guy beside us and turned his guitar toward us to "Play"...fans were going insane...it was unreal
The Toronto crowd was very reserved yet appreciative. I love Toronto but it was amazing how reserved the people in attendance were. Of the 20,000 people there there were only about a dozen of us at the stage!...which was great but people were getting all pissy (read: jealous) cause we were "in the way", which was nonsense...that's why the stage is higher than the crowd.... if the girl behind us in the second row who kept bitching had actually gotten off her fat ass at some point in the show she might have seen it better!.....come on people, if you call yourself a fan and your seated on the floor and don't stand up during any part of a show like this there's something wrong. (TRY TO LOOK ALIVE NEXT TIME TORONTO!)
Go see this show!
Thank you Lindsey, Thank you Stevie for the most memorable moments of our lives.
Sincerely,
Bob & Stacy.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with the Mac and it was well worth it. Every member of Fleetwood Mac brings something amazing to the stage. Everytime Stevie began spinning around I couldn't believe I was actually there to see it live. Lindsey and Stevie share an amazing chemistry on stage and I couldn't help but shed some tears of joy. I loved every minute of it and did not want it to end. I hope that they do make it out again for another tour after this one and who knows if they do maybe Christine will have a change of heart and rejoin this legendary band!
Thank you Fleetwood Mac for making our one year anniversary so memorable.

I have been going to different, and various concerts now for about a year or two, and have hit up two Fleetwood Mac ones, this being my second. first of all let me say this show was amazing! When I go to concerts I usually take a friend, and both mac concerts I took one of my friends to their first concert! By far the Toronto concert was the best! I also attended the buffalo show back in June, and that was awesome, but none the less Toronto rocked. all the way from my all time fave The Chain, to Goodbye Baby the Mac showed Toronto a fucking great show! The way Lindsey randomly went onto his guitar solos, and Stevie singing Stand Back, it was just soo amazing. I didn't think she would play a song form her solo career but she definitely had the house rocking right along with her when she did Rhiannon also amazing he seemed really into that, between her twirls, and spins, and great singing. the fake fight between Stevie and Lindsey during Tusk was amazing!
I got my friend Loren listening to Fleetwood Mac, and Tusk is his favorite song, so when they played it it instantly made his night! Mick and John also rocked the house! Stevie is the star of the show in my eyes. her beautiful voice during Landslide, and Silver Springs, and then her strong dedicated voice for Say You Will, and Gold Dust Woman! The whole concert was an amazing experience, and I would give anything up to go and see Fleetwood again, especially if they ever played with Christine although The Mac was truly awesome without her, it would of been all the more better if Chris been with them! keep it up all you Mac fans, as well as the Mac!

Totally amazing show! Best concert I've ever seen in my life.

I was 12 years old when I first heard Dreams and I thought this was the best song ever, even better than the Beatles's Yesterday. Since then I've listened to a lot of music (pop and rock in the 80s, more rock,Italian music, soundtracks and straight jazz in the 90s and a lot of avant garde jazz in the last 5 years) and I have to admit that I didn't go to this concert with a lot of expectations. The tickets were a birthday present I bought for my wife - she loves FM - and, for me, I thought it will remind me of the old times when I new all the Rumours song by heart. With all this in mind, if you are a music lover, please take my advice.
Go see this concert!
It's well worth the admission price. As you might know by now, I loved the concert and so did my wife. And it looks like the people in the 50s or 60s in the audience loved it as much as the teens, who I didn't expect to see at this concert.
It's a bit sad that Christine was not part of it.
Thanks Stevie, Lindsey, Mike and John for a magical concert. I hope you'll come back to Toronto.

Fleetwood Mac is such a legendary band and they did not disappoint. They gave the crowd good value and played for a full 2 1/5 hours.
It appeared to me though that it took the band at least 45 minutes to really gel and sound like they were into the concert. Stevie Nicks has an amazing voice and sounded just as good as she did 20 years ago. I liked the new material as well. Fleetwood played a drum solo towards the end of the night which was fantastic. Lindsey Buckingham is a very talented guitar player and played numerous solos. As far as guitar solos go though, the first one is great but after that I think they become blase and are indulgent on the part of the musician.
Overall, they still have what it takes to really entertain a crowd and I really enjoyed their performance.

The Chain - I noticed the crickets this time and they went on which seemed like forever. The Mac started at exactly 8:00. As soon as they came out I knew we were in for a special treat.
The Chain was so much better than the Pittsburgh show. They were really into it and everybody was going crazy. Of course Lindsey and Stevie came out holding hands. They are just too cute. This is the first time my husband noticed Stevie's dreadful Reeboks. He got a kick out of that one.
Dreams - Before this Stevie says Welcome Toronto or something like that. Of course this song is always wonderful. I just stand there and stare at Lindsey. I had fun singing to him tonight but he kept looking at this obnoxious family that was in the front row. They were going crazy the entire time but they only knew the old tunes and left for some of the new. I hate that.
Eyes of the World - I think this song was third this time because the last time I remember it being the fourth song. Anyway, I love the drums in the beginning and they way they are so animated.
Peacekeeper - This song seemed to start out slower that I remember but it was still good. The Mac is really loud without earplugs (I usually wear them because I have constant ringing in my ears). I wish that Stevie would sing that recorded part in the middle. She doesn't even try and it cracks me up. Of course Lindsey had to make his Force speech before the song.
Say You Will - I just love this song and the way Stevie sings it. She was doing the lasso move and I saw a couple of other people doing it too. I sang this song to my husband. The girl beside me was the best because every time people would leave she would help me move down so that we ended up in the center for most of the night.
Never Going Back Again - GOD I love Lindsey. This song was perfect and I just love it. I was singing a little too loud and had to force myself to be quiet. I couldn't help but scream constantly though. Making eye contact with Lindsey sure freaks me out though. He is so intense and when he looks at you it is almost too much that at some point you do look away. You cant help it. I think there were some times when he was looking over at me for a good while and I didn't know what to do with myself. I felt like I was 16 again. LOL
Rhiannon - Stevie changed into her usual Rhiannon wear and looked great. She kicked this songs ASS!! She was dragging the microphone and going crazy. I was screaming "Go Stevie"!! She really worked that song and went all out. This was another song that was so much better than Pittsburgh. They had so much more energy. I loved it.
Come - HOLY SH*T, Lindsey is a madman. OMG, I could not believe it. I really needed a cigarette after this song was over. He started it out pointing to some girl in the audience and singing to her (I wish it was me) and he was making hand motions to her like come here and then he was making all kind of crazy sexual hand motions. When he said the word fever he ran his hands down his face and body. That man is the sexiest thing alive. It was too much for me. I was flipping out during this song. I swear the solo was about 5-6 minutes long. I had to hold my ears because he was just going crazy. I thought he was going to jerk off the guitar at one point. And then he was doing the gerbil thing and running around like a mad man. It was so funny!! I wish I had as much energy as he has. The floor stood for this song and everybody was really into it. Of course he had everybody freaking out at the end of the song.
Gypsy - Lindsey took a break for a minute before this song. I don't know how his hands aren't completely destroyed. Gypsy was great. Stevie did all the extra parts at the end.
Big Love - More hotness from Mr. Lindsey Buckingham himself. This song was so great and he was screaming the grunts at the end. The crazy family in front of me were doing some kind of pogoing thing during this song which was kinda distracting but if you cant sit there and thing that Lindsey is not the guitar god after this one then there is something wrong with you.
Landslide - Of course this song is always great. Stevie stood behind Lindsey and helped play air guitar. I think he kissed her forehead at the end and they hugged. It was very cute and Stevie milked the Well Maybe part at the end. Everybody loves this one.
Say Goodbye - the people that kept coming in and out of the row tried to ruin this song for me. Why do people leave for this song or talk during it? Anyway, Lindsey gave some speech about spontaneity and they sang it to each other. Stevie seemed kinda sad at the beginning but held it together. At the end I did hear Lindsey say "I could never say goodbye to you." I thought I was hearing things in Pittsburgh when I heard it but not this time.
What's the World Coming To - This one started out slow but got faster and better towards then end. Not a bad song but I think there are better ones they could have done from the new cd.
Beautiful Child - What can I say about this song? It is so beautiful and sad and lovely. Stevie sang this with so much emotion that you could hear the pain in her voice. She sang the I still love you and need you part at the end. I realy need a boot of this show. She seemed to really go for the high notes tonight.
Gold Dust Woman - This song gets better every time. It was loud and Stevie was really into it. She was twirling and flipping her hair and she went crazy during the Go Home part. I think watching Lindsey go crazy got her riled up cuz I have never seen her move around so much.
I'm So Afraid - Another big highlight of the show. He went crazy again and my husband was wondering if he was going to have a heart attack. HA HA. Lindsey was humping the guitar again and then he had it in between his legs. I thought he was going to have sex with it. He was picking it up and putting it over his head and I kept screaming for him to smash it into pieces. His energy is contagious cuz you cant help but go crazy with him.
Silver Springs - SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE DANCE! WOW! Stevie pulled out all the stops on this one. At the end she and Lindsey were both stomping their feet and screaming to each other. It makes the dance performance look so weak. She sang the "Still I am a fool part" and she was flipping her hair and dragging the mic again. I was in awe on this one.
Tusk - So the band leaves and all of a sudden I see Lindsey signing autographs. My husband is like get up there. So I had to hop over the front row seats which was no easy feat considering that I had on tight low rise jeans. I ran up there and put my ticket up to him and he grabbed mine and some guy next to me and signed them and then gave them back to me. The was the last ones that he signed for that moment. I was going to have him sign my cd but had no time to get it out of my bag. I was freaking out. The mother of the crazy family got mad and said that I pushed her out of the way. I thought she was gonna start swinging. I dont remember pushing anybody.
This song was amazing and way longer that I remember it being in Pittsburgh. So its that time when S n L get frisky and Lindsey unplugs his guitar and starts swinging the chord around like a lunatic. Then he tusks the hell out of John who looked like he was enjoying it. He goes after Stevie and puts up his arms and tries to box with her. She was playing her tambo at him and then he grabbed her and they slow danced for a while. It was so sweat. They looked like they were both really enjoying it. After the slow dance Lindsey just hopped around the stage. It was great to see him so happy,
Stand Back - I love this song and tonight was the best performance of this song ever. Before the song really started Lindsey was standing there with his guitar and going crazy again. I don't know how he did not break a string. He had the guitar down low and was thrusting it for a good while. Stevie was on the other side of the stage waiting for him to stop. I think she was kinda pissed. I looked over at my husband and was like "Lindsey is fuc*ing the guitar." HA HA. So finally it is Stevie's turn and she was fired up. She tore the roof off the place and must have done about 15 spins. She was jerking herself back and fourth and really gave it her all. I was proud.
Go Your Own Way - Another kick ass performance by man Lindsey. He was still being a maniac and let the people in front of me play the guitar. It sounded like crap but it was all good. He threw a towel to somebody but some guy caught it. Why would a guy want his sweaty towel?
World Turning - I love this song but Micks drum thing is way too long. I liked watching Lindsey on the side of the stage. He is too entertaining. Mick's spit was going everywhere and I was glad that I was not at the front at the moment. Security was realy tight and no pictures were allowed to be taken even though you can buy the cameras at the merchandise tables.
Don't Stop - I always say how I could do without this song but tonight it sounds amazing and I am so happy to hear it. The MAC freaking rocks and I am so lucky to have seen them twice so far on this tour.
Goodbye Baby - I am usually sad at this moment because I know the show is over but not this time. I am just happy being able to spend another 2 1/2 hours with my favorite band. This song was beautiful as always and you can tell that it means alot to Stevie. I thought she sounded choked up at the beginning but she managed to finish it. At the end she held her head down for a while before they did the usualy bow at the end. Lindsey signed more stuff and then told the last person that he had to go. He waited for Stevie and before they walked off stage and I was left with a wonderful feeling. The mac is back and they freaking kicked my ass!!
So after the show we leave to go to a bar. It was only 10:30 and figured that we would spend the last night in Toronto getting drunk. (Well not to drunk) We went to the Smiling Moose and as soon as I walked in I knew it was going to be a great finish to the most wonderful evening. They were playing Big Love and everybody was singing and having a great time. There were tons of people there from the show and they all had their shirts on. There would never be a place in Pittsburgh where it would be cool to like the mac. (I hate that). So for the rest of the night the DJ kept playing Mac tunes. It was soo great and everybody was just having a blast. Girls were taking off their bras just to hear them. It was too cool. Me and the old guy behind me kept singing to each other. I dont know how long it has been since the Mac has been to Toronto but everybody was just loving them. I was really sad to leave and get back home today. I have come to love this amazing city in just two short days. I think my friends and thier husband are goint to come back up for New Years. On the way out of the hotel I saw a couple of ladies with their FM shirts on and I was reminded of how amazing last night truly was. I will never forget it and now I have my autographed ticket to add to my wall. (I have a frame with all of my concert tickets in them).

Spectacular. My first time seeing them. Lindsey was on fire all night. We were in the 3rd row so it was perfect. Stevie's voice was real strong and sound quality was great. They did all the favorites as well as a number of songs off the Say You Will CD. Stevie and Lindsey were hugging and smiling at each other all night. Mick was a wild man and his playing was great. Best show I've seen in a long time.
They played for about 2 1/2 hours. Don't Stop was one of the encores and the place went wild.

I drove 450 km from Quebec to see the band. The show was awesome. Lindsey was energetic. He played two of the best guitar solos (Come and I’m so Afraid) I've ever heard! Fantastic!
Stevie’s voice was perfect although she appeared to spare her strength during the first half of the show.
The reason why I gave a “4.5” is that I really missed Christine, especially on Don’t Stop (Stevie sounded a little bit weird). My favourites: Eyes of the World (rocked!), Go your own way, Stand Back and Landslide.
Félicitations et venez nous voir à Montréal!

I'll start out by saying that we nearly left our tickets at home. Right before we crossed the border my dad say F*** (Pause) I forgot the tickets. Horror fills the car , but it could've been MUCH worse He could've found out in Toronto. So we go back. So Fast Forward to the concert. Actually traveling to the show this time was a completely different experience. By leaving earlier we could CLEARLY hear the sound check. They did Dreams, The Chain, and Big Love.
Before I do specific songs, I'd like to say that Stevie's energy level Doubled. She was bouncing kicking and spinning. And my favorite thing she does she pulled the microphone back alot. And Lindsey, He was on fire for sure. BUT i have to mention a change I noticed in him in the four months from Buffalo to Toronto. In Buffalo he'd do one of his amazing solos say thank you and move on. But Last night, he acted like he just won the super bowl, cured cancer, and saved a kitten from a tree. He seemed like he was waiting for people to sacrafice their children to him. At the rate he's going by Valentines day he'll put on a robe and a crown after I'm So Afraid and will have John sing "Here comes Miss America".
So the show had MANY highlights, but I'd like to mention the FEW BAD things:.
-Dreams was flat out boring. i liked it kind of the first time, but I was bored during it, and frankly this was the only time i felt Stevie wasn't into it, and I find it funny that She says this is her one song she never gets sick of doing, it definitely didn't show.. - Peacekeeper was bad guys. I think there was something wrong with their mics because the first few lines of the song almost weren't coming out of the speakers.
-Say Goodbye was boring as hell, moreso then Dreams, drop this snorer.
-What's the World Coming To wasn't bad, but it was not even close to Buffalo.
Now these are the absolute best of the show:.
-The Chain ROCKED. In ways I can't describe, I actually remember it this time too. Stevie was moving so much and her vocals were just fantastic.
-Rhiannon was pretty much better then Buffalo, she went berzerk with the mic stand, but the only thing bad about it was her messing up with the take me like the SKY I I..
- Come was MUCH better then Buffalo. The Vocals and the guitar solo..
- Big Love is always such a treat.
- Beautiful Child was Really a shocker. I "Liked" it in Buffalo, but only because it was Beautiful Child and was so rare. But I was let down. But last night it was just AMAZING. perfect, what I wanted from BC live. My dad doesn't even like the song, but said he thought it was GREAT last night..
-Gold Dust Woman, the scream in this song was like from another world. Leading up to it, i was thinking, do it good Stevie Do it good, and she did. I tend to over exaggerate sometimes, but I'm not here. it was demonic, it was what we want from her..
- I'm So Afraid was explosive, but It's Mick's drumming that steals this song for me.
- Silver Springs was THE HIGHLIGHT of the night for me. It was just a flawless(I do believe this is the first time I've ever used that word) performance. I didn't even mind her obvious forgetting of the words and screaming GIVE ME JUST A FOOL, as long as she screamed her mistake . And I also liked Stevie's weird seizure she had during the guitar solo..
-Tusk was my second favorite of the night. I can't belive that before the tour I wanted this song to be gone. It's just SO funny when he hangs on John like he's drunk, and the Stevie boxing into a dance, it's just so Spontaneous and yet rehearsed at the same time . -Stand Back, I can't decide what's better Stevie's explosive performance or Lindsey's spasm at the beginning drum solo..
-World turning Was definitely in the top 5 songs somewhere. And that includes the Mick thing. I've actually grown to LOVE that whole ordeal, vesturbation and all. It's just so energetic and his dual with Lindsey is great. I just loving seeing this old grandpa who looks 75 acting like he's 20. And for some reason those pre recorded WORLD TURNINGS got my blood pumping alot. And of course the song portion of this was the best part..
- Don't Stop wasn't really a highlight, but the 4 17 year old girl's next to me really got in to this one and were singing along, and that got me bouncing with them. AND the bigger thing is this is where Stevie and me had our moment.. .
And the surprise of the night was SAY YOU WILL, it wasn't my favorite by far but they somehow made it GREAT tonight. this was the most boring song live to me for awhile but it was amazing last night. I loved Stevie's little dance. And her interaction with Lindsey was great.
And some extras. Stevie was quite energized and she interacts with the Band alot, but Just the band. She is alot more concerned about Mick and John then she is about her audience which I didn't mind I love when she stares at Mick and they play around. And John, oh John's presence was just FELT last night, but he said less then I've ever heard him say. i don't think he even said a single Thank You. But like i said, he had some great presence going on. And I'd like to add that the 4 poor 17 year old girls next to me showed up during Big Love, thinking there would be an opening act. I was actually sitting in their seats thinking no one was showing up, i had ALOT of leg room. But if i had to give them up I'm glad it was to 4 17 year old girls. I was impressed that they all sang along to the new songs (Brains AND Beauty) OH and Stevie LOOKED AMAZING. Alot better even then Buffalo. Especially after she changed for NGBA. She was breathtakingly beautiful. And that Jana is not nearly as hot as her picture shows.

I have been waiting and waiting to see them. It was my first time. I *wasn't* disappointed!
Stevie did a super high kick and floated like an angel in twirl after twirl! She looked *absolutely* stunning!!! The songs were flawless and they all seemed to be having such a wonderful time! Lindsey was *amazing*! He is an animal! I can't say enough about this concert! I can't *wait* until they come back to Toronto! They sounded so strong and performed *every* song beyond expectations!!! I think Stevie's platform sneakers are sweet! :-) She is absolutely amazing to watch! I can't say enough... really! If anyone hasn't been to see them and gets a chance to... all I can say it GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! You won't be disappointed at all! :-) I wish they would play more Canadian dates!!! Excellent. Buckingham is a maniac, Nicks voice is still great and Fleetwood still masters the kit!

I found that the audience really was not crazy about the new stuff. I felt that Stevie Nicks really took time off after performing a song. All and all though, they rocked and everyone seemed generally pleased with the show. It was a powerful 3 hours for sure. I had tears in my eyes when they performed "Silver Springs", just amazing and of course was stunned when Stevie did "Stand Back". I love that band so it was definitely worth the 150.00 I paid for my ticket.

It was delicious! I did miss Christine though (she's like the "glue" in Mac)...I loved the selections, but I was hoping for "Crystal"!!! I cried throughout every Stevie song, but the most during "Silver Springs" (naturally!) Glad I could be there. It was a historical moment...
