5 BEING THE BEST
Rated "5" by Stacey Wood
Fleetwood Mac is absolutely amazing and it seemed like they were having so much fun. My seat in the 5th row allowed me to see everything and they all looked so happy. The music was great, and they sounded better than the last time I saw them, which was in May. I don't know how they do it. I couldn't believe that at the end of the show Stevie came over to the end of my row as she came off of the stage. A few people in my section, including myself got to shake her hand!! I couldn't believe it, that was a once in a lifetime experience! Thank you Stevie! Every single song that they played was perfect and I was deeply touched and even drawn to tears by a few. Landslide happened to be one of them. Stevie dedicated this song to Lindsey and I don't think that there was one person that was not touched in some way by this.
Tusk had so much energy, there was not one person sitting in the arena. Fleetwood Mac let me just say that I wish I had been around in the seventies. I would have been at everyone of your concerts!! My only regret now is that I don't think I will get to see them play again on this tour:(
This was the most amazing experience and I recommend to everyone that if you have the chance go see them! They are amazing! Thank you for inspiring me the way you did, I will never ever forget that night!!!! It was absolutely amazing! Please don''t make this your last tour!

Would have liked some more of their hit songs and a little less of Lindsey but still a great performance.

My first time seeing the 'A' team line-up, I saw them with Dave Mason a few years back. They sounded good, played a heapin helpin of hits and entertained for 2.5 hours. Overall a pretty enjoyable show.
Just can't quite rave about the show however, they really didn't catch fire till the final 1/4 of the show, starting with Silver Springs. That song noticably loosened up Stevie, both her body language and singing voice. I think the problem was that they stopped after almost every song and could never sustain a strong rockin momentum til the end. Really liked Second Hand News and Tusk, all the old hits sounded great, the songs from the new CD didn't match up. Came back for 2 encores, the second being a quiet ballad. If you want to get a jump on the exiting throng, skip the second encore, you won't miss a thing. Scheduled 8PM start was more like 8:25 for you folks who like to arrive fashonbly late. About 1/2 way thru they play 2 new songs in a row, thats the prime bathroom break time.
Ranking this show against the others I've seen this summer: it was way better than Jackson Browne (what an A-hole for not playing Pretender), somewhat better than Ringo (not his stongest lineup), about equal to the ZZ Top triple bill (Ted Nugent stunk). Not as good as Steely Dan (they were pisser) and not even close to Bruce Springsteen's 2nd Fenway Park show (a classic). Overall a good show, I would recommend it, but don't go in with unreasonably high expectations.
